That’s what I heard before starting this build.
A news portal.
Multiple languages.
Real content analytics.
Subscriptions coming next.
So I did it anyway.
I used custom PHP code and shortcodes to track:
- How many news articles go live each day
- Publishing patterns month by month
- Content performance beyond basic dashboards
Then I added 7+ language support,
because news should travel — not stay locked to one audience.
Now the platform doesn’t just publish stories.
It understands them.
Next step:
👉 Integrating a subscription / payment gateway to turn readership into sustainability.
Lesson learned?
WordPress isn’t limited.
